One of the reasons I have engaged in the coaching journey with Patrick is because I didn’t get the results I wanted like “bringing things into action”. I have analysed my life many times, worked with different therapists and psychiatrists, but it didn’t really help me move forward.
I have experienced a real transformation since I started with Patrick. I feel like I am in charge of my choices, reflections and I am now able to put them into action. I was in a “victim” mode before. What a change!!!
Patrick provided many useful tools; one that I found very interesting was the “Reward List” – I had never rewarded myself for my efforts and I liked when Patrick suggested that it was time to reward myself after making some progress. As simple as it sounds, it had a positive impact and brought more self-awareness, self-care and self-love into my life. That was a shift too.
Furthermore, I have been inspired by the books that Patrick recommended. Our discussions around the topics helped me gain power over my self-destructive thoughts, giving me the strength to shift from negative to positive thinking, and shifting my emotions from sinking into a drama to neutralizing into the IS-ness. This sentence was so powerful for me. “It just IS”. It takes away the judgemental, negative connotation we give to an event or situation.
Another powerful tool I need to mention is the word “play”. This simple word is something I didn’t give myself permission to exercise and now I allow myself to explore and embrace the energy of a little child.
I made also a growing list of gratefulness and thankfulness and that has been a healing outlook on my life. My brain knows better how to seek pleasure and how to avoid pain.
We had some laughter sessions too and that was very uplifting.
Each session I experienced with Patrick was both a revelation to myself and a positive discomfort. Patrick is a great listener, he interprets my words at the right time, connects with my way of thinking and behaving both emotionally and mentally, always with enormous respect. He helped me gain a deep feeling of trust and ease.
A coaching from eye to eye and heart to heart. Just what I needed.
With gratitude, thank you.
When one get into this process of “personal improvement”, it takes us sometimes into unknown areas. One tries to change some behaviors and the testing of it can sometimes become adventurous. In that sense, coaching helped me to find answers when I wasn’t too sure. My coach helped me be accountable for my thoughts and to reflect on it. I might have chosen to give up because it is easier or for lack of time. My coach pushed me to analyze situations, events, good or bad and to see how I could have acted differently, if it didn’t go the way I wanted it to. It is very customized and personal because the counseling comes more from powerful questions and our own reflection than from the coach. I received suggestions sometimes, but most of the time my coach triggered the self-suggestion. I spoke about all that bothers me and it helped me vent my stress. To be able to speak about things helped a lot to face them. I often just need a little “push”.
I found out also that it pushes me to be more committed. I found it hard to change my habits and more so my personality. To see or talk to my coach regularly, helped me to stay committed and pursue a bit more of the experience
We focused on goal setting, effective communication, team building, leadership and achieving balance in all facets of life. In addition to our very informative one-on-one sessions, Patrick was very good at recommending books, audio programs and practical techniques.
In my experience coaching goes beyond typical business training, and has the potential to be truly life altering. I enjoyed working with Patrick, and plan to continue to consult with him about specific areas of my career and life.
I am pleased to recomend Patrick and will continue to work with him in the future.
In my case, I was a career security professional and private investigator who after 17 years decided to become an entrepreneur and start my own security and investigation company. I knew I was in for a challenge! And I still am. As I write this today, I am just about 4 months in, and I have already developed business beyond expectations.
I am pleased that I had the opportunity to receive coaching to start me on my way.
I learned many things that have not only assisted in developing sound business goals, but also areas for personal development.
Patrick’s expertise in getting you to take the time to reflect on your objectives, goals, ideals, strengths, weaknesses, and ethics truly helps guide you in decision making areas.
